Energy saving in injection molding machines can be divided into two parts: the power system and the heating system.
Power System Energy Saving: Most systems use frequency converters. Energy saving is achieved by reducing the motor's excess energy consumption.
For example, if the motor's actual power is 50Hz, but production only requires 30Hz, the excess energy is wasted. The frequency converter changes the motor's power output to achieve energy saving.
Heating System Energy Saving: Energy saving in the heating system mostly uses electromagnetic heaters, achieving energy savings of approximately 30%-70% compared to traditional resistance heating.
1. Compared to resistance heating, electromagnetic heaters have an additional insulation layer, increasing heat utilization.
2. Compared to resistance heating, electromagnetic heaters directly heat the material tube, reducing heat transfer and energy loss.
3. Compared to resistance heating, electromagnetic heaters heat up more than a quarter faster, reducing heating time.
4. Compared to resistance heating, the faster heating speed of electromagnetic heaters increases production efficiency, keeping the motor at saturation and reducing energy loss caused by high power consumption and low demand.
