Technical Requirements And Production Efficiency Of Fruit Crate Injection Molding Machines

1. High Clamping Force and Injection Volume

Fruit crates are large in size and have a large projected area, and they often employ a complex mesh design to reduce weight. This requires the injection molding machine to have a sufficiently high clamping force to ensure that the mold does not burst during injection. The weight of a single fruit crate is relatively heavy, therefore the injection molding machine needs to have a matching injection capacity and injection pressure.

 

2. Stable Hydraulic and Control System

Due to the large size of the products, the stability of the production process is crucial. The hydraulic system of the equipment needs to provide stable and reliable pressure and flow output to ensure accurate and error-free actions such as mold closing, injection, and pressure holding. The control system should be able to accurately set and adjust process parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed, and time at each stage to ensure batch product consistency.

 

3. High-Efficiency Plasticization and Energy Saving Requirements

Fruit crate production involves mass production, requiring high production efficiency. The plasticizing mechanism (screw and barrel) of the injection molding machine needs to have efficient mixing and conveying capabilities to shorten plasticizing time. With rising energy costs, energy-saving features of equipment are receiving increasing attention. For example, using a servo motor drive system can significantly reduce energy consumption.

 

4. Reliable Ejection and Mold Compatibility

Fruit baskets have complex structures, requiring uniform and sufficient ejection force during demolding. The injection molding machine's ejection system needs sufficient stroke and stable force. The equipment's template dimensions, tie rod spacing, etc., must be compatible with the installation and operation of large fruit basket molds.

 

5. Durability and Ease of Maintenance

As a production tool, the equipment needs to operate continuously for extended periods. Therefore, the mechanical structure should be robust and durable. Key components such as the screw, barrel, and clamping mechanism must have good wear resistance. The equipment design should facilitate daily maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
